As I have mentioned in an earlier post I use sitcoms to escape a world that I love but can be cruel and sad at times. I know, I know, that is pretty pathetic. You think I could escape through a good book or my boy Henry or a fantastic wife named Heidi and they are great but at times I just need to veg and laugh and certain shows do that for me.
As Heidi so eloquently explained there are a few great shows out there that make all of us laugh. For me going back many years these include Cheers, Night Court, Seinfeld (not Friends, never Friends), Scrubs, The Office, Arrested Development, King of the Hill, The Simpsons, and most recently 30 Rock.
Heidi shared a couple clips she enjoyed and they were good but this is one of my favorite. It borders on inappropriate racial stereotyping but boy does it make you laugh. If you have never seen a clip from 30 Rock then please check this one out.

Again we are so kindred on favorite shows.
I am actually going to show a clip from 30 rock in my race and minority relations class. It is the clip where Liz thinks her neighbor is a terrorist. Oh so funny.
