"Christianity doesn't deny the reality of suffering and evil... Our hope... is not based on the idea that we are going to be free of pain and suffering. Rather, it is based on the conviction that we will triumph over suffering."
- Brennan Manning
“Wounding and healing are not opposites. They're part of the same thing. It is our wounds that enable us to be compassionate with the wounds of others. It is our limitations that make us kind to the limitations of other people. It is our loneliness that helps us to to find other people or to even know they're alone with an illness. I think I have served people perfectly with parts of myself I used to be ashamed of. ”

sorry heidi..I don't have a medicine cabinet!
Cool! I love it when people do what I tell them to do! I couldn't help think what your medicine cabinet must have looked like 3 years ago. I'm so thankful you only have folic acid to worry about!
Aw, there must be something more exciting sitting behind those cranberry pills, or something!
