As my last blog suggested I went up to Utah for my Grandma's funeral. It was nice, and sad, and bitter sweet. I did get to see a lot of family and friends, though which is always a good thing.
I spent a lot of time with four legged friends:
"Christianity doesn't deny the reality of suffering and evil... Our hope... is not based on the idea that we are going to be free of pain and suffering. Rather, it is based on the conviction that we will triumph over suffering."

“Wounding and healing are not opposites. They're part of the same thing. It is our wounds that enable us to be compassionate with the wounds of others. It is our limitations that make us kind to the limitations of other people. It is our loneliness that helps us to to find other people or to even know they're alone with an illness. I think I have served people perfectly with parts of myself I used to be ashamed of. ”

You do indeed have a belly! How did I not know until now? Hooray! How far along are you?

Cute pictures! I find it so appropriate for you to put pictures of the dogs before the humans!
In spite of it being a funeral, it looks like you had a very nice time.
And for a minute....I thought Kira was wearing a bathrobe.
You look so cute.
A BATHROBE? I just got that jacket. I thought it was cute. Now I know the truth.
But the real question is...did Daniel tell your dad or not?
Yes, Daniel finally told Burt...with a month to spare :)
It was so great to see you. I am so excited for you and can't wait to see pictures of the new little one in a few weeks!
I LOVE THE PUPPY PICTURES!
