"Christianity doesn't deny the reality of suffering and evil... Our hope... is not based on the idea that we are going to be free of pain and suffering. Rather, it is based on the conviction that we will triumph over suffering."
- Brennan Manning
“Wounding and healing are not opposites. They're part of the same thing. It is our wounds that enable us to be compassionate with the wounds of others. It is our limitations that make us kind to the limitations of other people. It is our loneliness that helps us to to find other people or to even know they're alone with an illness. I think I have served people perfectly with parts of myself I used to be ashamed of. ”

Stay Safe!
Oh good. I have been thinking about you a ton!!
I was going to call you today, because we thought you might have to leave. Where did you go to? and yes, keep up posted.
Have fun eating cookies and playing kickball and stuff.
My brother lives in Texas and my extended family lives in Cameron. My Uncle got married yesterday in Cameron, TX (about two hours west of Houston). My brother and mother, who is from South Carolina, went to Cameron. I hope all of you are safe and well. And that no extensive damage occurs to your house during this time.
