Being Mormon

I like being a Mormon. Not crazy about Mormon culture (for example I'm not a huge fan of BYU, rarely wear white shirts to church, Jell-O is boiled horse parts and I would never vote for Mitt Romney) but LDS theology works well for me. Granted it isn't for everyone but for us it seems to do the trick.

I'm just glad I can differentiate between the unique doctrine of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and quirky Mormon culture because I get the feeling not all Mormons can do the same. After all, testimonies are founded in theology, not culture.

At any rate recently I stumbled across this diagram on lds.org and have been excited to share the image with those who have not seen it because it illustrates several reasons why I am proud to be a Mormon. Check it out:
