The other day, after proving herself academically for 24 months and not failing a single class (seriously, it is amazing how many students have to repeat courses), Heidi was awarded her white coat by Texas Chiropractic College. I have never attended such an event so I was expecting a lot of candles and chanting and while there was no chanting there were a few candles. But by the end Heidi got her white coat officially making her a student doctor of chiropractic.
This has not been an easy road - you can not imagine how hard it has been. Chiropractor school is not easy and even though Heidi has been at it for more than two years she still has more than a year left. It has required a lot of sacrifice, time, and money but were investing in one of the best bets - an education. So congratulations Heidi, we can see the light at the end of the tunnel - then it is back to school for me!
P.S. Sorry, on an important night like this one the camera started acting up so some of the photos are a little blurry...go figure.
This is most of Heidi's class. She claims they are one of the best looking classes at the entire school and we all know good looking chiropractors make the best chiropractors.
Just before the ceremony. As usual Henry is clueless and talked on the phone during most of the program. Heidi's hair looks a little dated here, doesn't it?
Apparently the blond female students lined up by hair color. Doesn't she look professional?Well, this is where I would put a photo of Heidi and myself but she did not want one taken, something about me not being photogenic enough, never smiling in pictures, and always tilting my head backwards. Sigh.
At any rate congratulations again to Heidi and good luck with the rest of your scholastic adventure.

That's fantastic Heidi! Congratulations!!
Congratulations, Heidi and Dan. This is quite an accomplishment for both of you...and let's just throw Henry in there too because he's so stinkin' cute. Way to go Shelton family!
Ha Ha Ha - Dan, that was a pretty funny post, not sure why I thought it was so funny.
On another note - Congrats Heidi!!!
